General Instructions

General Instructions (JEECUP):

Total duration of the examination is 15 minutes.
The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of the screen will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not be required to end or submit your examination.
If you want to display the palette, click on the "View Palette" button or click on the "" icon.

The Question Palette displayed on the right side of the screen will show the status of each question using one of the following symbols:

1 You have answered the question.
2 You have not answered the question, but have marked it for review.
3 You have visited the question, but not answered it.
4 You have answered the question and marked it for review. (Your answer will be considered for evaluation).
5 You have not visited the question yet.

The "Marked for Review" status simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again. You can click on the ">" arrow which appears to the left of the question palette to collapse the palette thereby maximizing the question window. To view it again, click on "<".

परीक्षा की कुल अवधि 15 मिनट है।
सर्वर पर घड़ी सेट की जाएगी। स्क्रीन के ऊपरी दाएं कोने में काउंटडाउन टाइमर परीक्षा पूरी करने के लिए शेष समय दिखाएगा। समय शून्य होने पर, परीक्षा अपने आप समाप्त हो जाएगी। आपको अपनी परीक्षा समाप्त या सबमिट करने की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी।
यदि आप पैलेट देखना चाहते हैं तो "View Palette" बटन पर क्लिक करें या "" आइकन पर क्लिक करें।

स्क्रीन के दाईं ओर प्रदर्शित प्रश्न पैलेट (Question Palette) निम्नलिखित प्रतीकों का उपयोग करके प्रत्येक प्रश्न की स्थिति दिखाएगा:

1 आपने प्रश्न का उत्तर दे दिया है।
2 आपने उत्तर नहीं दिया है, लेकिन समीक्षा के लिए चिह्नित किया है।
3 आप प्रश्न पर गए हैं, लेकिन उत्तर नहीं दिया है।
4 आपने प्रश्न का उत्तर दिया है और समीक्षा के लिए चिह्नित भी किया है। (आपके उत्तर को मूल्यांकन में शामिल किया जाएगा)।
5 आपने अभी तक प्रश्न नहीं देखा है।

"समीक्षा के लिए चिह्नित" (Mark for Review) स्थिति केवल यह दर्शाती है कि आप उस प्रश्न को दोबारा देखना चाहेंगे। आप प्रश्न पैलेट को छिपाने के लिए पैलेट के बाईं ओर दिखाई देने वाले ">" तीर पर क्लिक कर सकते हैं, जिससे प्रश्न विंडो बड़ी हो जाएगी। इसे फिर से देखने के लिए "<" पर क्लिक करें।

Navigating & Answering a Question:

To go to a question directly, click on the question number in the Question Palette. Note that using this option does NOT save your answer to the current question.
To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options.
To deselect your chosen answer, click on the chosen option again or click the Clear Response button.
To change your chosen answer, simply click on another option.
To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button.
To mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button.

Navigating through sections:

Sections in this question paper are displayed on the top bar of the screen. Questions in a section can be viewed by clicking on the section name.
After clicking the Save & Next button on the last question for a section, you will automatically be taken to the first question of the next section.
You can shuffle between sections and questions anytime during the examination.

इस प्रश्न पत्र के अनुभाग स्क्रीन के शीर्ष बार (Top bar) पर प्रदर्शित होते हैं। किसी अनुभाग के प्रश्नों को अनुभाग के नाम पर क्लिक करके देखा जा सकता है।
किसी अनुभाग के अंतिम प्रश्न पर Save & Next बटन पर क्लिक करने के बाद, आप स्वचालित रूप से अगले अनुभाग के पहले प्रश्न पर चले जाएंगे।
आप परीक्षा के दौरान किसी भी समय अपनी सुविधानुसार अनुभागों और प्रश्नों के बीच जा सकते हैं (शफ़ल कर सकते हैं)।
