The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) is conducting body of the recruitment exam for the position of Police Constable in Uttar Pradesh. 60,244 vacancies were mentioned in the official notification. The authority will conduct the written test for these posts in the first phase on omr based.

Selection Process
Written examination– The written examination will be conducted for 300 marks and contains of objective-type questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The questions will be based on General Knowledge (GK), General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Those Candidates are qualified who score above a particular cut-off mark to be eligible for the next stage.
Physical Standard Test (PST)- This stage tests the candidates’ physical test. It involves measurements of height, weight, and chest (for male candidates). Those Candidates are not meet the specified physical criteria are disqualified from next further stages.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- It includes activities like running, long jump, high jump, etc. The specific activities and their requirements may vary.
Document Verification- In this stage, documents are verified to confirm the candidate’s eligibility and authenticity. Documents typically verified include educational certificates, domicile certificates, age proof, identity proof, and reservation category certificates (if applicable).

UP Police Constable Admit Card Details
The admit card is a major important document for the recruitment process. It contains essential details such as the Applicant’s name, roll number, exam date, time, exam venue, and other instructions. Candidates must carry their admit card on the day of the examination.
In addition to the UP Police Admit Card print, candidates must carry two passport-size photographs and a photo identity proof.
