The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the CUET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key on June 9, 2026. Candidates who appeared in the Common University Entrance Test — held between May 11–31 and June 6–7, 2026 — can now log in to the official portal to view their answer key and recorded response sheet.

How to Download CUET UG 2026 Answer Key
Follow these steps to access your provisional answer key and response sheet from the official NTA portal:
- Visit the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in on your browser.
- Locate and click on the "CUET UG 2026 Answer Key" link on the homepage.
- Enter your Application Number, Password, and the Security Pin.
- You will be redirected to your candidate dashboard — click on Answer Key & Response Sheet.
- Download and save the PDF files — compare your recorded responses with the provisional answers.
- Use the answer key to calculate your expected score before the official result.
CUET 2026 Marking Scheme
Use the marking scheme below to estimate your raw score before the official result is declared:
Multiply your correct answers by 5, subtract 1 for each wrong answer, and the total is your estimated score.
How to Challenge the CUET 2026 Answer Key
If you believe an answer in the provisional key is incorrect, here's how to raise a challenge:
- Log in to cuet.nta.nic.in using your Application Number and Password.
- Open the challenge window and identify the question using the Question ID and Option ID — do not use serial numbers (1, 2, 3…).
- Click "Choose File" and upload a single PDF with all your supporting evidence (textbook pages, journals, official references).
- Save each challenge individually before proceeding.
- Pay the non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question challenged via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
After the Answer Key — What Happens?
Expert Review
NTA forwards all valid objections to subject matter experts who verify the evidence submitted.
Final Answer Key
A revised final answer key is published after review. This forms the basis of result calculation.
Result Declaration
CUET UG Result 2026 is expected in the first week of July 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in.
University Admission
Universities release seat allotment based on CUET scores. Accept your seat and pay admission fees.
