Candidates can download the NEET Result 2025 online only at the official website. It can be downloaded using the valid credentials i.e. roll no. and DOB in the login portal. Here’s how you can quickly and smoothly access the NEET UG scorecard:

NEET Result 2025- Tie-Breaking Criteria
If two or more students secure equal marks/percentile scores in the NEET UG Result 2025, The following rules will determine the outcome in the event of a tie:
- A candidate with higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany & Zoology) will get preference.
- If there is still a tie, the students with higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry will get preference
- If a tie still persists, candidate with higher marks/percentile score in Physics will be preferred
- If there is still a tie, the candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects shall be preferred.
- If a tie still persists, candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology (Botany & Zoology) will get preference.
- In case of a continued tie, preference will be given to the candidate with fewer incorrect responses relative to correct ones in Chemistry.
- If a tie still persists, candidate with with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics will get preference
- If a tie still exists, resolution will occur via a random method monitored by an independent panel of experts.
NEET 2025 Answer Key
The answer key will be publish through online mode only. Candidates are eligible to check the answer key via online mode if they successfully appeared in examination. With the help of answer key, students can calculate their mock-marks they are going to score in the examination. Included in the NEET 2025 answer key are the correct responses to each question asked during the exam.
The authority provides students with the ability to contest the answer key. Objections can be raised within the prescribed dates by submitting them online, accompanied by a fee of Rs. 200 per answer. If the challenge is accepted, the fee will be refunded to the candidate.
NEET 2025 Merit List
The merit list will be prepared based on percentiles, calculated using the highest marks obtained by candidates in the NEET examination. The NTA will compile the merit list specifically for the 15% All India Quota. Admissions to colleges and universities will be granted according to the candidates’ positions on this list. NEET 2025 Merit List Tie-Breaking Criteria

- Candidates with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology section.
- Applicants demonstrating greater accuracy in the Chemistry section, with fewer incorrect answers relative to correct ones
Candidates who attempted fewer incorrect answers in proportion to correct responses in Physics.

NEET Counselling 2025
Following the announcement of the NEET results, candidates who qualify will be eligible to participate in the counselling process, which is the next step toward securing admission in their allotted medical or dental colleges. The counselling for 15% All India Quota seats for MBBS and BDS programs is conducted and overseen by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), ensuring a fair and transparent allocation of seats across participating institutions.
NEET 2025 Counselling registration (All India Quota) will begin from second week of August 2025. Candidates will be able to participate in the counselling process conducted by their state medical admission authorities. Provisional allotment will be released in fourth week of August 2025 for first round.
