The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is organizing the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE IV) for several district cadre posts such as Revenue Inspector (RI), ICDS Supervisor, Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), Amin, and Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS). The recruitment process for the OSSSC CRE began with online applications on 30th December 2023, and the last date to apply was 31st January 2024. The exam aims to fill various district-level vacancies under different departments of the Government of Odisha.
The CRE 2024 exam will happen in several stages: a Preliminary Exam, a Main Exam, and a Practical Skill Test for those who qualify. OSSSC Selection Process
The selection process for OSSSC CRE 2024 includes three stages:
- Preliminary Examination (MCQ-based exam) – This is a screening test, and candidates are shortlisted for the Mains Exam based on their performance in pre exam.
- Main Examination (MCQ-based exam) – Shortlisted candidates from the Pre Exam will take this exam, and who are qualified candidates will proceed to the next stage.
- Practical Skill Test – Candidates who qualify in the Main Exam will take a practical test in basic computer skills.
Exam conduct Schedule
- Preliminary Examination: Scheduled to be conducted from 20 September to 20 October 2024
- Main Examination: Expected in December 2024 for candidates shortlisted from the Preliminary Exam.
- Practical Skill Test: This will be conducted within two months after the Main Exam.

There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each incorrect answer in both exams.

The OSSSC CRE Admit Card 2024 will be available only online mode through the OSSSC website. Candidates will not receive any admit card offline method. The admit card will include:

Frequently asked Questions (FAQ's ) : OSSSC CRE Admit card 2024
The candidate must have passed +2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with C.T/D.I.E.T training and Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) pass. Bonda The candidate must have the prescribed minimum educational qualification as on 01.01.2024.
A total number of 180 questions are asked. The written exam is conducted for 180 marks. Marks deducted for each wrong answer is 1/3th of the marks assigned to each question i.e 0.33 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
